After numerous delays, and well, legal problems, R&B singer Chris Brown has announced a new release date for his studio album 'X.'

Brown went on Instagram today (Aug. 3) and posted a promo pic with the words "September 16th," which presumably could be the LP's release date.

In addition, Breezy also offered fans a sneak peak of some of the songs possibly slated for the collection.

In one 15-second instagram video, you can see Brown grooving to beat of a particularly track.

"Let the music take you to another place. Somethings are inevitable so u need to be able to detach sometimes," he writes.

In another video, Brown salutes producer Hit-Boy for blessing him with a banging song.

Since his release from jail a few months ago, Brown has had time to reflect on his recent turmoils. On Saturday (Aug. 2), the 'Don't Judge Me' singer posted a lengthy Instagram caption expressing some regret for his past mistakes.

The caption reads:

I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. But through it all I've always been true to myself and through God I've been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man. I'm grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life!"

Hopefully, Brown can put his legal troubles behind him and focus on his career. More importantly, let's hope he can deliver his proposed new album on time.
