Chris Brown is back in the courtroom today. A judge has revoked the singer's probation stemming from an arrest for assault in Washington D.C., in October.

TMZ shares that the 'Fine China' singer was in court for a progress hearing about the incident, in which he allegedly attacked a man outside of a hotel around 4:30AM. The judge felt the allegations of assault were enough to revoke probation, which stems from Brown's 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

On the bright side, the judge did not send the 'X' creator to the slammer because he was "impressed by Chris' progress in his anger management rehab." Breezy has been away from the public eye after being sentenced to 90 days in rehab last month. E! News reported that the sentence, which is in a residential treatment facility, includes drug testing and taking medication as prescribed by a doctor.

Despite today's leniency, the judge will hold a hearing on all of this again in February 2014. At that time, a harsher sentence could be handed down.
