They say you should never stop learning in life. Well, yesterday I learned what the hole on a can tab is for.

Thanks to Facebook, I learned that the hole on a can tab is for a straw placement. I seriously had NO IDEA!!! Seriously.

We are often critical of social media, but because of Facebook I learned that the hole on a tab secures your straw and prevents it from moving side-to-side. Who would have thought?

Sure, you may have already been aware of the hole's purpose on a tab, but to me this is like "Breaking News." You need to share that knowledge with your boy!!

And while I may use the hole in a can tab to place my straw while drinking a soda or energy drink, I'll never use a straw when drinking an ice cold beer.
