Chris Reed Visits Fezzo’s In Scott – Eat Lafayette 2013 [Sponsored]

One of my favorite local restaurants to visit in the Lafayette area is Fezzo's in Scott, La. I am huge fan of their seafood platter, but with this visit I may now a new favorite at the establishment.

As you walk into Fezzo's you are always greeted by their friendly staff and an aroma you can not miss. The smell of Cajun Cuisine often greets you at the door too, and as soon as you ware seated you can't help but notice the relaxed atmosphere at Fezzo's.

For this visit, I tried a number of entrees including their massive seafood platter!! I had the seafood gumbo, red beans & rice, char grilled oysters, and even BREAD PUDDING!! Having sampled everything on the table, I will say this, you won't be disappointed in any of these entrees. The seafood gumbo was perfect, and that serving of red beans & rice will match anyone's grandmother's recipe.

As for the bread pudding, I don't know if it gets any better than what you get at Fezzo's. It is so good, I nearly requested more to take home!! All in all, Fezzo's is a place I highly recommend you visit. It is located on the service road in Scott, near the Scott Exit off of I-10.
