Christian Audigier, the designer who gave us Von Dutch and Ed Hardy, has passed away at age 57.

Audigier was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)—a form of cancer that affects bone marrow—back in January.

Audigier designed two of the most iconic brands of the 2000s between Von Dutch and Ed Hardy. His designs were popular amongst celebrities and athletes like Ashton Kutcher and Dennis Rodman, and also amongst consumers as Audigier had a net worth of over $250 million, according to Complex.

The designer also worked with Guess, Levi's, American Outfitters and more.

According to LATF, Audigier was said to be doing better following a bone marrow transplant in March but slipped into a coma before dying at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

His bold patterns and bedazzled designs will not be forgotten.
