Lt. Clay Higgins On The Hunt For ‘Big Grey Lizard’ [VIDEO]

The gem in the crown of law enforcement is at it again. Lt. Clay Higgins of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office released a new Crime Stoppers video this week, and in this episode, Higgins is on the hunt for a suspect he described as a 'big grey lizard' based on the outfit the suspect was wearing.

The video is recapping a crime that occurred on July 27th at 4am at an establishment called Bada's Bar. In the video, you can see the suspect 'slithering around' after breaking in through a window. The suspect allegedly broke into an ATM machine and video poker machine making off with around $10,000.

Then, after addressing the crime itself, he directs his attention to the criminal, and you know he's serious when he starts walking towards the camera. I wouldn't mess with him on my best day.

"Mr. Lizard, put down your pipe for a minute and listen good. Look at me when I'm talkin to you, son."...oooh, you know it's gonna be awesome.

Higgins gets biblical for a moment:

'You shall like the dust like a serpent, like the crawling things of the earth. Ye shall come trembling, turn in dread, and ye shall live in fear.

Then, he waxes philosophical:

The cash you've stolen is gone. Invested in the final demise of your humanity.

And then, the payoff. In his own completely awesome way, Higgins invites the criminal to turn himself in, because as he put it,

Even though your pockets were briefly filled, your soul is eternally empty.

*Drops mic and walks away*...not really but that would really be the icing on the cake.

If Lt. Higgins doesn't run for president, then at least one of the candidates should nominate him for Secretary of Awesome.
