Congress Street Re-Opens After Truck Flips Into Coulee Near Cajundome (Video)

Lafayette Police have re-opened both lanes in the 2000 block of West Congress Street after the driver of a white F150 pickup truck lost control and hit a bridge, flipping over into a coulee.

The area of the accident was right past the Cajundome. Corporal Paul Mouton says the driver and the passenger were removed from the truck with minor/moderate injuries and were brought to the hospital.

Mouton says both lanes of the road were closed so that recovery personnel could remove the truck from the coulee.
