The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns won 58 games in the 2014 season.

To win 58 games, you have to have some pretty good players.

Three Ragin' Cajuns were honored today by Baseball America, being selected to All-American teams.

Cajuns; second baseman Jace Conrad and Outfielder Caleb Adams were named to the first team, while shortstop Blake Trahan received second team recognition.

Conrad, drafted in the 13th round by Tampa Bay, finished the season hitting .364.  He had nine homers among his 39 extra base hits and drove in 65 runs.  He made only three errors all season and eleven in his three year career.

Adams was drafted in the tenth round and has come to terms with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  Adams was the Sun Belt batting champion in 2014, batting .381.  He had 36 extra base hits, including eleven homers, and drove in 42 runs.  His .502 on base percentage was one of the best in the country.

Just a sophomore, Trahan was a sparkplug for the Cajuns' offense all season.  Trahan hit .355 with four homers and 49 RBI, good for third on the team.  Trahan's defense helped lead the Cajuns to 62 double plays on the season.  The Kinder native was selected for the USA National team.

Cajuns' fans will also recognize some of the other names on Baseball America's list.  LSU right hander Aaron Nola was a first team starting pitcher, Mississippi State lefty Jacob Lindgren was the first-team relief pitcher.  On the third team were Ole Miss outfielder Auston Bousfield and San Diego State DH Ty France.
