Dr. Conrad Murray, the man held responsible for the death of Micheal Jackson, has been released from jail. Murray, who served as Jackson's private physician, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2009.

The news broke via Twitter when NBCLA posted the breaking news. Although Murray was sentenced in 2011 to four years in prison, he was released two years early for good behavior.

In an interview with the "Today" show, Murray said, "I will restart my life and, God willing, I will be a model to show the world that despite adversity, and when bad things happen to good people, they can restart their life and succeed."

If you recall, Murray's license to practice medicine was revoked citing malpractice issues, however, his attorneys are seeking to have his license reinstated from several states. For more on this developing story, click HERE.
