A McKinney police officer has been suspended after he was filmed aggressively handcuffing, and then pulling his weapon on, teens at a pool party.

According to reports from the official McKinney Police Department Facebook page, around 7:15 p.m. on Friday (6/5) officers responded to a disturbance at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool. Once on the scene (nine units), officers say there was a large crowd that didn't comply with police commands to leave.

Video of the incident eventually surfaced showing an officer yelling at bystanders, detaining teens, and wrestling a girl to the ground. Many believe the officer acted too aggressively with the unarmed teens, even drawing his weapon on two males who tried to come to a young girl's aid.

The video has even raised concerns from the McKinney Police Department that are currently being investigated while one of the responding officers has been put on administrative leave.

Others at the pool party told Buzzfeed news that things began to get out of hand when adults at the pool allegedly made racist comments towards some of the kids at the pool.

Brandon Brooks—the YouTube user who uploaded the video told Buzzfeed that many of the students at the end of school celebration were there on a guest pass.

A fight between a mom and a girl broke out and when the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn't do anything. So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders.

Another parent is considering a lawsuit after his daughter was assaulted by adults at the pool and later handcuffed by police for "no reason."
