Baseball, beer and unapologetic good times. It might not have been what our forefathers imagined as the American Dream, but frankly it is.

When this Cubs fan went to see her beloved, downtrodden team, she probably never imagined she would become a viral sensation. With a 6-2 lead in the 9th inning and her Cubbies surely on their way to victory, this woman's fine day at the ballpark got even sweeter when a foul ball headed her way.

If you don't bring a glove to the park, then there are a couple ways it can go when you need an impromptu catch: the hat, tub of popcorn, cradle it with the shirt...but you don't often see a fan offer up a fresh beer to catch a ball. This woman went above and beyond. Some people say you can't have your cake and eat it too, you can't drink the foamy beer with a dirty baseball in it...but I thought this was America. The land of the free. The land where when life gives you lemons, you spike the lemonade. This Cubs' fan understood that American Dream, and she embraced it.
