Dallas Police Car Spotted In Acadiana

A friend of mine spotted a police car at Prejean's Restaurant off of I-49 Thursday, but it wasn't a local department there for dinner. Members of the Dallas Police Department stopped for dinner while traveling to Baton Rouge.

Luke LeGros says that Prejean's covered the tab for officers as they were treated to some unique country cuisine.

The officers were reportedly heading to Baton Rouge to pay their respects for the three fallen officers from the Baton Rouge area. All three officers, that were killed last Sunday, will be buried this weekend and Monday.

What a kind gesture to make the drive down to southern Louisiana and pay their respects. If you recall, the Dallas Police Department recently lost five members of their force too.

We hope they enjoyed the food at Prejean's and we hope they feel at home in south Louisiana.
