Dear Fat PeopleWhat we've all wanted to say to FAT PEOPLE

YouTube Comedian Nicole Arbour posted a video titled "Dear Fat People" with the intention of making a "joke" about obese people—but not everyone is laughing.

20 million times on Facebook, and was viewed over half a million times on YouTube before it was reportedly "censored."

Many have criticized Arbour, saying that
her video was more hurtful than comical.

Whitney Way Thore—star of the TLC show 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life—responded with a video of her own, pointing out the effects of body-shaming.

Buzzfeed reached out to Arbour to ask how she was handling the public outrage. The YouTube comedian said she doesn't take what strangers on the internet say about her personally.

What they are saying is a ridiculous outrage to a comedy video that has a bit too much truth in the jokes for their personal taste.

Arbour said that she will now have a disclaimer appear on future videos about her channel's content and apologized to any children who may have been negatively impacted after watching her video and not realizing she was a comedian.

Moving forward, Arbour also said she will not avoid sensitive topics.

This was only an issue because this particular group wants to be immune to satire, while laughing at everyone else. We all need to relax, laugh at everyone, and learn to turn off something we don’t like, not try and wipe its existence.

posted on Twitter that her gender and her "look" is the only reason why she is receiving negative feedback for her video.

Do you think she truly has the best interests of the public's health in mind, or did she just make a "shock" video to drum up views on her social media page? Do you think she was wrong for putting all obese people under one umbrella of judgement, or are people being too sensitive? Do you agree with what she said, but believes she could have gone about it in a different way?
