Demi Moore To Divorce Ashton Kutcher, Cheating Scandal To Blame

Well, I guess the rumors were true. According to a statement she has just released, Demi Moore has decided to divorce Ashton Kutcher. The couple was married for six years and initially their 16 year age gap had many in disbelief. If that wasn't enough, people also could never wrap their heads around how much harmonious time the couple spent with Bruce Willis, Demi's ex-husband. It seems pretty clear that Demi Moore has had enough.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,

As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.

Ashton has acknowledged her statement and tweeted the following

Things started to fall apart when tabloid headlines about Kutcher having an alleged affair with Sara Leal back in September during a guy's weekend in San Diego. Apparently, there was much truth behind those rumors. Ashton and Demi have reportedly tried behind the scenes counseling and even an attempt to reconcile at Bruce Willis' vacation home on Turks and Caicos, but it seems that there was simply nothing for Demi to hang on to anymore. To add to the fire of the cheating scandal rumors that couple hasn't made a public appearance together in months.

I guess everyone has a limit.
