Did Mother On Toddlers & Tiaras Take It Too Far ? (VIDEO)

When I watch the show “Toddlers & Tiaras” on TLC, I definitely expect to see a lot of “OMG material” but on this weeks episode, there was one instance where I felt like things went too far. It was a scene where a pageant mom forces her crying 5 yr old to get her eyebrows waxed, even though the girl is CLEARLY terrified to the point of mild trauma because of a previous waxing experience where her skin was actually ripped off during the procedure. Even though I know it is edited to amplify the drama, when I watch the show, it is very apparent that a lot of these mothers “force” their kids into this “pageant life” when its blatantly obvious that some of these kids have little to NO interest in it at all. Ninety-Nine percent of the time the parents push things past the limit and contrary to what most of them say, they are living vicariously through these little girls & boys seemingly fulfilling something they could never accomplish at any given point in their childhood and/or adult life. With that said, when i saw this clip (below) my first thought was that this is borderline child abuse … what do you guys think ??
