The biggest Christmas light display in Acadiana is right on Highway 90 just past Jeanerette.

It took 200,000 lights and 3 miles of wire to create this awesome display of Christmas lights.

According to KLFY channel 10, the owner of the house, Dave Landry said it took him a year to create this amazing spectacle of lights. He started in 2013 after seeing another display just like it on TV, and he said he had to do it!

It cost him thousands of dollars to create the light show. To put things in prospective, just the driveway cost him $4,000. WOW!! He used a program called Light-O-Rama and hand picked 34 songs. It takes 4 hours to program one sec of lights, you do the math!

He did the display in dedication of his daughter.

Just in case you were wondering, there is only a Christmas tree on the inside. I don't know about you but, all I keep think about is, how high is the light bill going to be?

If you want to see the display its not far, head down HWY 90 about two miles past Jeanerette. Trust me you can't miss it. I think you can see it from the moon. LOL!
