DJ Khaled has announced that he'll be joining Beyonce on her Formation tour starting April 27. Being managed by Jay Z must be nice, eh? Watch the official announcement above.

Just yesterday (April 18), Khaled lit the streets of NYC on fire with his We the Best pop-up shop. XXL was in the building to ask the King of Snapchat a few questions, so stay tuned for those.

Khaled's been on quite the roll lately, announcing his Major Key album will drop via Epic Records this year. That album looks to house a song with Future and Jay Z, produced by Southside, Jake One and G-Koop. How the song will turn out is anybody's guess, but that line-up alone looks insane.

With all his newfound success, Khaled might be eyeing a chunk of his hometown Miami's basketball team. Talking to TMZ recently, he said, "I would love to talk to the Heat, and let me be a owner even if it’s 1 percent,” he said. “Either way, I’m there court side. If I’m out of town I’m representing. I bleed Miami. It’s Miami Heat for life.”

Nardwuar also ran up on Khaled recently to talk Miami rap history, Khaled's background, and sending beats to Clark Kent for Biggie.

The 20-minute meet up happened backstage of Nas’ Mass Appeal BBQ in Austin, Texas, and consisted of Nardwuar and Khaled comparing Miami strip clubs, going through old Miami records on vinyl and Nardwuar stunning the “Mogul Talk” star with how much he knew about his past, particularly his bus boy days at Southern restaurant chain Shoney’s. With Khaled being the king of motivational catch phrases, the Carol City-bred spinner got sentimental when talking about his humble beginnings.

“You not working with the people right?” asked a suspicious Khaled before diving into his story of winning $5,000 in a local DJ contest. “I always knew to give up, never surrender, never give up. It took me from bus-boying to now.”
