Drake Cancels First Day of OVO Festival Due to Frank Ocean’s Vocal Injury

Due to Frank Ocean‘s recent health problems, Drake has no choice but to cut the first day (Aug. 4) of the OVO Festival in Toronto.

Ocean, who was scheduled to headline along with U.K. artist James Blake for the fest’s first day, suffered from a torn vocal chord during a show last Thursday (July 25) and had to cancel his entire Australian tour.

All concertgoers who had tickets to the first festival day will receive a refund for. The OVO Festival will take place in Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Aug. 5.
