Drake can now proudly boasts that he has the most No. 1 rap songs than any other rapper in the game. The Young Money superstar notched his 11th No. 1 with the Nicki Minaj-assisted track ‘Make Me Proud,’ which landed atop the latest Billboard Rap Songs chart.

Drizzy’s chart achievement breaks a tie with Diddy for the most No. 1 rap songs. For the record, the Diddster had 10 chart-topping tracks between 1996 (Lil Kim‘s ‘No Time’) and 2003 (Nelly‘s ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather’). Drizzy’s first top rap song was his breakthrough hit ‘The Best I Ever Had’ in 2009, which spent 15 weeks at No. 1.

As we previously reported, Drake’s platinum-certified anthem ‘The Motto’ (featuring Tyga and Lil Wayne) is gaining really fast up the charts. The song currently sits at No. 3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally and No. 4 on the Rap Songs chart. It will be interesting to see what will happen next week.

We are so proud of Drake — all puns intended. We him wish more chart-topping success.
