Drake just blessed the 2017 Billboard Music Awards with a crazy performance. Instead of lighting up Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena like most other performers tonight (May 21), Drizzy took things to the next level and rapped amid pyrotechnics and water works inside the iconic famed Fountains of Bellagio in front of the Bellagio Luxury Resort and Casino.

With Baka (Not Nice) as his hype man, Drake performed the banger "Gyalchester" off his 2017 playlist More Life. The duo both wore all-white outfits for the occasion, which made them stand out against the famed backdrop. Synchronized fireworks and water streams accented Champagne Papi's lyrics throughout the three-minute set.

OVO Sound's Mr. Morgan posted an Instagram shot of Drake and Baka post-performance looking exceedingly happy.

"Drake does not perform on television very often so I think whenever he does it's a real event," said Mark Bracco, Billboard Music Awards's executive producer to Billboard earlier this week of the performance.

The Canadian MC has plenty to celebrate tonight. Aside from this sick performance, Drake is on track to make Billboard history. With 12 wins, the Boy is now tied with Adele for the record of most BBMAs won in a single night. Toronto's own has already taken home trophies for Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album, Top Rap Tour, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Collaboration, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and more. If he wins just one more award before the night's end, he'll hold the new record.
