With Drake's Views From the 6 album dropping this Friday (April 29), you know Apple Music was gonna play a heavy role. Now it seems Drake will premiere the album this Thursday night (April 28) at 10 PM EST on his OVO Sound Radio show for Beats 1.

The album will probably go live on Apple Music after that, and whether it'll be on up for purchase on iTunes initially or not is yet to be determined, though, like "Pop Style" and "One Dance," it very well might. Those songs hit Spotify and other streaming services a week later, indicating that the same one-week window of exclusivity might apply to the album.

Make no mistake - Drake is Apple's golden goose in the streaming arms race right now. Yesterday Tim Cook announced that the streaming service had accumulated over 13 million users, roughly matching the growth rate of Spotify. Between exclusives from Future and 1975, Drake seems to be the chosen one for the company, who even bankrolled his "Hotline Bling" video last year.

Musically, "Pop Style" kind of fizzled, even with features from Hov and Kanye, while "One Dance" has taken off, thanks in part to the island vibes it shares with Rihanna's "Work." It's Drake's first No. 1 record on Canadian charts in his career, while jumping from No. 13 to No. 3 on this week's U.S. Hot 100 chart. Whether it'll eventually overtake Desiigner's "Panda" to become Drake's first No. 1 U.S. hit is yet to be seen. He was close with "Hotline Bling" but Adele just had to cock block him.

Tune in to Beats 1 radio to hear Drake's Views album this Thursday at 10 P.M. E.S.T.
