Guy Attempts To Dunk Over A Car, Fails Miserably [VIDEO]

Basketball player Lloyd Hickson's goal was to slam dunk over a convertible in a dunk contest—but let's just say he came up a little bit short.

Taking long, confident strides—it really seemed like Hickson had this spectacular dunk all sewed up as he attempted the fancy feat in front of a gym packed with excited fans. The crowd noise elevated as Hickson drew nearer to the basket, and gasped as he left the ground, soaring over the white convertible—then BOOM!

A dunk? Nope, not at all.

The only thing that got thrown down was Hickson's body, as the ball was rejected by the front of the rim causing Hickson to come crashing down onto the car, and eventually the ground below the rim.

The end result could have been WAY worse, but other than his pride being a little bruised, he came away with no significant injury and even got immediate redemption in the end.

Some advice for Lloyd—leave the car dunking to Blake Griffin.
