The other day I celebrated another wonderful year on this planet, and after yesterday, I was thankful that I was living in Louisiana, especially after visiting Little River Inn on Main Street in New Iberia. Richard and Lori Hurst have an incredible restaurant with some of the best seafood I've had in quite a while. From the alligator appetizers, from grilled to fried to rolled into what looked and tasted alot like boudin balls, to the delicious seafood entrees and even the award winning Sweet Potato Beignets, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. See for yourself what makes Little River Inn so special.

Be sure to visit Little River Inn and be sure to visit EatLafayette.com for a list of other participating restaurants along with a full list of menus and specials, plus a chance to win a cruise for two!
