One of the biggest artists in the world is a Tech N9ne fan. The legendary Elton John showed his interest in Tech's music during a stop at a Vancouver record store, according to the CBC. Beat Street Records employees were shocked to see John in their store and were completely thrown off by his request for Tech's vinyl.

"I came in from the back and there was Elton John standing there with his two bodyguards, digging through records," Beat Street Records manager Lindsay Tomchyshen said. "He asked my boss if we had any Tech N9ne, like, the gangster rapper and I was not expecting that."

Unfortunately for John, the store did not have any copies of Tech's albums. Perhaps the folks at Strange Music can hook up the "Rocket Man" singer with the vinyl he seeks.

If Sir Elton is really digging Tech's music, he will have plenty of opportunities to see the Kansas City rapper perform live. Tech is set to embark on the Strictly Strange tour later this month. Check out all of the veteran MC's tour dates below.
