Eminem made his grand return on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. The rap superstar performed his new single “Walk on Water” as well as a couple of his chart-topping hits.

Backed by Skylar Grey on piano and an orchestra, Em launched into “Walk on Water.” Dressed in all black with a gold rope chain around his neck, Slim Shady rapped about his struggles to outdo himself and the criticism he faces every time he raps.

Afterward, Em segued into, arguably, his most notable song of his career -- “Stan.” This time around, Grey stepped behind the piano to sing Dido’s hook, while Em delivered his diabolical lyrics of an obsessed fan.

Em wasn’t done yet. The Detroit rhymer concluded his set with “Love the Way You Lie,” his 2010 chart-topping single with Rihanna. Grey handled Rihanna’s lyrics on the chorus, while Em spit his fiery lyrics from the track.

Overall, after a four-year hiatus, Eminem is back and he's better than ever. As for when his album, Revival, will hit stores, no one knows yet. Last Friday, fans were deeply disappointed that his project didn't arrive as expected.
