Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Named Homecoming Queen at Her High School
Eminem fans are well aware of his daughter Hailie Jade, as he referenced her many times in songs. The teen is a senior in high school and in addition to, you know, having the world's most famous rapper for a dad, she was also named Homecoming Queen at her high school.
A classmate retweeted a tweet about Hailie, 17, landing the coveted title at Chippewa Valley High School.
A parent that was on site at the Homecoming ceremony told a local newspaper that Em was there on Friday, Oct. 4 to support his daughter and to enjoy the festivities, but that he was low-key while doing so. What a good dad he is -- seriously!
“Hailie came out with her mother Kim (Scott) when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene -- he wanted Hailie to have her own moment,” said one anonymous parent.
“I heard our people had him in the cafeteria so he could see what was going on outside, but I can’t confirm that,” said George Sobah, president of the Chippewa Valley Board of Education.
Another parent said that Em was super stoked. "He opened the door and looked out like, ‘That’s my daughter!’ He just looked like a proud father,” a parent said.
Even with his tough, hard exterior, we're willing to wager that Em was thrilled that his daughter nabbed the crown. Hailie has shown herself to be a pretty normal high schooler, once tweeting about how much she loves One Direction. There were rumors she was miffed about Harry Styles and Taylor Swift dating, but it has been suggested the tweets may have not have been hers.
Even so, his little girl being a Directioner is probably not something the 'Berzerk' rapper is psyched about. Or maybe he is! We don't know.
