Community Home Health & Hospice Gumbo Cook-Off Fundraiser

The Community Home Health & Hospice Gumbo Cook-off Fundraiser is set for Saturday, March 21st at Sugar Mill Pond from 9am to 5pm.

There will be a $10 entry fee and children 12 and under get in free.

This fun filled day will consist of cooking and activities for the family like face painting, balloon art and fun jumps for the kids. There will also be live entertainment from Dustin Sonnier and the Wanted, Johnny Chauvin & the Mojo Band, and Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin' Cajuns.

Chances to win include door prizes, live auction, and awards for best gumbo and people's choice. Judging for the cook-off will begin at 11am.

This fundraising event is in support of the non-profit foundation 'Lollie's Closet' which is the sister company of Community Home Health & Hospice. They assist hospice patients and their families with funding to offset any expenses that they incur throughout the duration of their care.

You can also help in this event by becoming a sponsor. The deadline to become a sponsor is March 18th.

Vendor booths are also available for $100.
