The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides walk and Run for the Roses 5K is set for Saturday, April 30th at Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville. Hundreds of participants throughout Acadiana will participate in this premiere event, raising critical funds for life-saving research, education and care programs for cystic fibrosis, and inherited fatal disease.
Run for the Roses is s a chip timed 5K. Registration begins at 7am with the race at 8am. Great Strides is a family-friendly, fundraising walk with food, entertainment and children's activities and immediately follows Run for the Roses.
