Come join us with The Boogie Allstars and Nik L Beer for a family-friendly concert to honor our veterans. Food trucks, beverages, pop-up Shops, and entertainment for the kids can be found on site. This event, free to everyone, kicks off the beginning of the fundraising campaign for the Veteran's Memorial in the Park, Memorial Gardens. Plans will be available to show the public where the funding is going.
Memorial Gardens will hold up to 800 people, fourteen battles will be noted on plaques and granite stones within the memorial, there will be 7 flags – one for each branch of the military, one for Louisiana, and the American flag pole which will also hold the POW flag. Come on down to the tent dedicated to the project.
