Facebook Can Actually Help You Get A Job Interview

We are often critical of Facebook, but did you know that the social media platform can help you get a job interview?

That's right, according to a study from Ghent University in Belgium they found that having a public Facebook page can HELP you get a job interview. The catch, you need to have attractive photos on your profile.

According to the study from the university,  those who have attractive photos got 39% more interviews and were 21% more likely to get positive feedback. Again, your profile must be public so that potential employers can view your photos.

So just when you thought Facebook was used to argue, fight, and belittle folks, it can actually work in your favor when it comes to securing a job interview.
