The Atlanta Falcons offer sheet to restricted free agent safety Rafael Bush is a two year deal worth $4.5 million, according to a report from Ramon Antonio Vargas of The Advocate. New Orleans has until Tuesday to match, and Bush hopes the Saints don't match the offer, according to the report.

The Saints tendered Bush a one-year $1.4 million deal. He was the only restricted free agent that was tendered, making it clear the Saints hoped to have him back. However, with yesterday's signing of Champ Bailey, it will be difficult for New Orleans to match Bush's 2 year $4.5 million offer from the rival Falcons.

In addition to the money, Bush is being offered a chance to start in Atlanta, something that wouldn't happen in New Orleans barring an injury to starters Jairus Byrd or Kenny Vaccaro. The Saints also signed safety Marcus Ball on Wednesday.

Bush was an undrafted free agent in 2010 who began his career on the Falcons practice squad. In 2011 he signed with Denver, before coming to New Orleans in 2012.

In addition to playing safety, Bush had a prominent role on New Orleans special teams.
