After Remy Ma dropped her scathing diss track "ShEther" last weekend, taking aim at Nicki Minaj, Terror Squad general Fat Joe has decided to weigh in and give his opinion on the situation.

The internet was on fire Saturday (Feb. 25) because of Remy Ma. The Bronx rapper hit all her social media handles to release her “ShEther” diss, coming at The Pinkprint rapper with lines like, "I saw Meek at All-Star; he told me your ass drop/He couldn’t fuck you for three months because your ass dropped." Fat Joe swung by radio station WGCI 107.5 to speak to host Kapone and of course he had no chance of dodging the question about “ShEther.”

"I woke up like you to a phone ringing 1,000 times,” Fat Joe says to Kapone. "The phone was ringing so much I couldn't even listen to the song for like two hours.” Both Kapone and the Plata O Plomo rapper agreed that the “clock is ticking” for Nicki’s response. Joey Crack also stated that he would not interfere with the beef. “It’s two females going at it,” he adds.

The beef all started when Nicki Minaj got together with Gucci Mane and they released a record called “Make Love.” On the song, Nicki seems to be subliminally taking multiple shots at Remy. "Oooohhh, oh you the qu-e-e-the queen of this here?/One platinum plaque, album flopped, bitch, where?” Nicki raps.

With no response yet from the Young Money artist, some hip-hop fans wonder if Nicki is choosing to sweep this under the rug. Or will she let the anticipation build and release her comeback when people least expect it? At this point, only time will tell.

As for Fat Joe, he decided not to speak further info on the beef between the two female MCs but he did end that topic by saying Remy’s solo album is coming very soon.
