William Bear, father of a student at Gilford High School in New Hampshire, was arrested for violating the 2-minute rule and charged with disorderly conduct for expressing his opinion about a book his daughter was reading.

He was complaining about his 14-year-old daughter being given a novel with sexually-explicit content in her English class. He was upset that they were not given the option to opt out.

The book 'Nineteen Minutes' was published in 2007 and was a best seller on the New York Times best seller list. It's mainly about bulling, but some of the language content written in the book is even too explicit  for us to put in this post.

What do you think? Was the dad out of line or was the School Board out of line? My opinion the police officer was just doing his job, and the dad did say to arrest him because that is the only way he would go! Comment below.
