Missy Paschke-Wood, the now former Executive Director of Festival International de Louisiane resigned Monday, August 10.

The board of directors accepted her letter of resignation.

Paschke-Wood had this to say about her time with Festival,

“I'm very proud of the work we've done together over the past two years and am grateful to have been a part of Acadiana's crown jewel. I look forward to joining my many Festival friends in the audience at the 30th anniversary in 2016!" says Paschke-Wood.

Festival Board President, Scott Feehan said,

“We are very grateful to Missy for her hard work and guidance. She was instrumental in finding and implementing our new volunteer system, our donor software and countless other improvements to our day to day functions. While we will miss her, we certainly wish her the very best in her future endeavors.”

Paschke-Wood has served as the Executive Director of Festival for almost two years. She accepted the post in October of 2013.

The Board noted that Paschke-Wood helped to make many changes to the Festival that will have an impact for the future.

Festival International plans to hold a press conference at 12:30 p.m. today.
