Fewer People Going To The Movies

If it were not for the inflated prices and hefty 3D and Imax Prices, Hollywood would be a little worried.

For the second time in history, box office profits exceeded $10 billion, but they did so by selling the least movie tickets in the past 15 years, according to usatoday

According to a Hollywood.com study recently completed, theaters only sold1.35 billion tickets in 2010. Thats down over 5% from 2009. So whay are fewer people going to the movies. Is it because of the prices to get into a movie, or has the “black market” kept people from visiting theaters?
