Watch below, as the first pitch prior to Wednesday night's game between the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals was just little off the mark.

At least one cameraman thought so.

He wishes it would have hit another mark. Any mark!

Watch below, and the video tells the entire story:

You know what though? He took one for the team, so to speak, as it was a very special first pitch.

You see, 17-year old Jordan Leandre, the guy who throw the first pitch, is a cancer survivor. At the age of 4, he was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

A true inspiration, Jordan beat cancer, and still helps out in the fight against the horrible disease to this day.

Jordan, who is also a high school pitcher, just had one get away from him.

No worries Jordan! I tip my cap to you, sir!

Then again; that's easy for me to say, as I'm not the cameraman!

Seriously though; they probably had a good laugh about it.
