Football Returns To Cajun Field

In what may the most anticipated Spring Football Game in the history of the UL-Lafayette Ragin Cajun Football program, it happens this weekend at Cajun Field. It is the debut of Coach Mark Hudspeth on Cajun Field, and the hype can already be seen and felt around the stadium.The 2011 spring game happens tomorrow, Saturday April 9th, at 5pm. The coach is asking for fans to treat this exhibition as if it were a "real game." Coach Hudspeth has requested for fans to come out early and tailgate, and then proceed to pack the stands as this years Ragin Cajun team takes the field for the very first time.

Tickets are on sale now at the Cajundome Box Office and will be on sale the day of the game at Cajun Field ticket booths. All tickets are $5, and as always students with a valid college I.D. are admitted into the game for free.

For pre-game, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office will conduct a free fingerprinting session for kids accompanied by a parent. There will also be LIVE Entertainment on stage for the pre-game festivities, plus as "Coach Hud" and the team make their 2011 debut at Cajun Field, fans will be able to watch the team and staff march into the stadium at approximately 3:15pm.
