Former NFL star, and current NFL analyst for the NFL Network, Darren Sharper, was arrested in Los Angles on rape charges. TMZ Sports reports that Sharper was arrested on Friday, and that he is allegedly linked to two separate cases from 2013 and 2014.

TMZ reports that the former New Orleans Saints player was booked into the L.A Country jail, and released on a $200k bond. Sharper played a key role for the New Orleans Saints when they won the Super Bowl 2009. His NFL career ended in 2010, and it was then when he joined the NFL Network.

UPDATE: Pro Football Talk is reporting that the NFL Network has elected to suspend Sharper, without pay, until further notice.
