Following Chris Brown's arrest on Tuesday (Aug. 30) on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, details continue to emerge providing some insight on the accuser. Baylee Curran, an aspiring actress and model, accused the singer of pointing a gun at her when she went to examine a piece of jewelry, though Brown's friend 50 Cent theorized that she was attempting to steal the piece.

Earlier this week, The Los Angeles Times reported that Curran and a friend are wanted for questioning by the NYPD following an October 2013 theft at the Plaza Hotel and now Curran's former roommates are offering comment on their experiences with her. "I've had a past encounter with Baylee Curran back in 2013. She was my roommate and also made false assault allegations against me that resulted in a restraining order that forced me out of my own home for a month," a Facebook post included below reads. "She never even took her allegations seriously enough to show up in court when it came time to. Whole thing went away, didn't have merit, but my whole life was still turned upside down for a month. She's been pulling this BS for years now."

What's more, Angel Monroe, a former friend and roommate of Curran, spoke to Complex echoing some of those same sentiments. "I know she steals. I know she was obsessed with Chris Brown, she always has been,” she said. “Do I think she did it for attention? Sure. Do I think Chris told her to get out? Sure, and maybe startled her, but I truly don't believe she was assaulted.”

Brown was released on $250,000 bail and his attorney maintains his innocence. Upon searching his home, the LAPD were unable to find the jewelry piece in question or any firearms. It was as well reported yesterday that Curran may have sent a text stating her intentions to set Brown up. TMZ obtained a copy of the alleged message which reads, "this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up. Lol come get me.”
