In what has become a tradition on ESPN has now become a tradition in my own home for the Fourth of July. No, we don't overly indulge in hotdogs, but we always make it a point to watch The Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest.

The contest is held annually in Coney Island, N.Y and started back in 1916. While the event draws thousands of fans from all over the world, it now has a nationally televised audience on ESPN. Like many of you who may watch this event, I am not really sure as to why I am so drawn towards it. For one, it doesn't take-up much of time, and there is just something about grown men downing hot dogs that is quiet entertaining. Ok, I'll be honest, I really do watch this event in hopes of catching someone regurgitating on National Television!! There I said it!!!
