The wait is over. Two years after his seminal album 'Channel Orange,' Frank Ocean is working on his sophomore follow-up.

The news was shared on Instagram earlier today when director Nabil snapped a photo of Ocean in the studio. "Frank in the lab.. Making sophomore album game," he captioned.

The 'Thinking 'Bout You' singer spoke to MTV about the diverse inspirations for this album.

"When I was making the first [album] there were a group of artists that I listened to, just for inspiration and to absorb the energies," he said. "It was a lot of Stevie Wonder, and this time it's a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we'll see how it trickles into the music and the final product. I can't say much other than that."

Although he's been quiet on the music front, Frank has been in the headlines for his issues with Mexican restaurant Chipotle. He recently wrote what seemed like an incendiary check to the fast food giant due to creative issues over its new marketing campaign.
