Future and Jay Z have a song on the way together, according to a new interview Southside did with Whoo Kid. The Atlanta producer revealed that Khaled's got the record and Southside produced it with Jake One and a producer named G Koop. He starts talking about it around 3:30 above.

Just this morning (April 11), DJ Khaled announced that his We The Best Music Group signed an exclusive deal with Epic Records for his next album Major Keywhich looks to house the blockbuster Future and Hov single.

It might come to pass that Southside signs to G.O.O.D. Music. During their nearly 20 minute conversation, the talented ATL producer tells Whoo Kid how heavily he was involved with Kanye West's The Life of Pablo. 'Ye realized how quickly Southside could make and clean up a beat, so while Yeezy initially asked him to fix up a song or two from the album, Sizzle eventually touched up every other track from the project as well. He even says that together with Metro, they brought Kanye out of his futuristic sound and back into a direction closer to 808s & Heartbreak.

Southside's father was a producer who worked with Outkast, so the producer says working with the duo is on his bucket list of achievements. He touches on how "The Percocet & Stripper" joint he did on DS2 has elements of Organized Noize in it.

Sizzle's also been putting in work as a rapper these days, and over the weekend he dropped an outstanding new mixtape with Whoo Kid called Hardcore N H-Tech featuring Waka Flocka Flame. If you fuck with his beats, then you need to hear that tape. Peep it below.

Hear the whole interview above, where Southside talks about not getting enough credit for changing the sound of hip-hop with Waka Flocka, producer Lil Lody copying his beats, Kanye telling him he's the future of music back during Watch the Throne and much more.
