Geno Smith, the quarterback for the New York Jets, will miss six to 10 weeks of the season after he was "sucker punched" by teammate in the locker room on Tuesday morning.

Smith was punched by IK Enemkpali, who has since been released by the Jets. Head Coach Todd Bowles said fighting is not something they tolerate and that the organization will be moving on.

The fight was reportedly not football related and it could have been resolved had both parties elected to talk it out.

Smith will have to have surgery on his jaw to repair the damage.
