GoldLink pulled off the very tricky task of covering Outkast's "Roses" and doing it justice. He recently performed the song on BBC Radio 1's Piano Sessions, as well as other songs.

Dressed in black, and fully committed to his performance, the DC rapper did a stellar job of making the song his own but still keeping the vibe of the original song, which appeared on Speakerboxx/The Love Below.

GoldLink has been rising in the musical ranks since dropping his debut album At What Cost back in March. He'll be hitting the road soon, playing a show in Turlock, Calif on Aug. 5, then at the Breakaway Music Festival in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Aug. 25. According to his website, the "Rough Soul" MC will be gigging clear through October when he performs in Silver Spring, MD on Oct. 20.
