Introducing The Backyard ‘Granny Pod’ [VIDEO]

This is the future of nursing homes.

This is great if you want your elderly mother, grandmother or loved one close to home, really close. You can now put them in your backyard with "Granny Pods.'

Ken Duplin invented the '12 x '24 foot pods that could fit into most backyards like a small storage area. Each comes with a kitchen, bedroom, wash room, handicap bathroom. It has all the safety features in it like handicap rails installed, and the floors are padded as well.

They've also included webcams so if anything was to go wrong with your loved one the pod comes equipped with special sensors that check vital signs to notify caregivers.
