Despite seeking rehab to beat his drug addiction, it appears as if Gucci Mane will be facing some major jail time. The Atlanta rapper was indicted in federal court on two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon.

The So Icey rhymer, born Radric Davis, was arraigned before a federal judge Tuesday (Dec. 3), reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Gucci is accused of having a loaded handgun on two separate occasions and making threats to individuals, including police and his attorney.

According to prosecutors, Gucci had a Taurus 45-caliber handgun and eight rounds of ammunition on Sept. 12, when he was arrested by police. Days later, on Sept. 14, the rapper was in possession of a Glock 40-caliber handgun and 11 rounds of ammunition when he was stopped by police again.

If convicted on both charges, Gucci faces up to 20 years in federal prison and fines up to $500,000.

Gucci Mane’s next scheduled court date will be in January 2014.
