Hear Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne’s New Collab “Oh Lord”

Rap fans, our prayers have been answered. Two of hip-hop's most famous Southern diplomats, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne , have teamed up once again for the new track "Oh Lord." Released today (Sept. 29) via SoundCloud, the laid back banger is worlds away from their "Steady Mobbin" collab back in 2009. No word yet on whose behind the production for this new loosie or where the track will even end up. But based on the lyrical content, it was definitely recorded recently.

While a post-pen Gucci describes himself as "street but Godly"—get ready to see that line as an Instagram caption soon—Wayne takes aim at his Cash Money boss and former father figure Birdman again. In line with many of Weezy F's recent releases, the NOLA legend denounces all relationship with Birdman and Cash Money with the clever line, "I got to feed the family, but I had to leave the family/Cut off CMB, I'm an amputee."

Tunechi and Birdman have been in a feud for close to two years now over allegations that Birdman owes the rapper millions of dollars in royalties and refuses to let him out of his Cash Money contract.

But despite Wayne's bitter CMB trash talk, Birdman continues to speak as if he and Wayne are all good. After telling the world he was ready to throw in the towel and retire from rapping, Wayne celebrated his 34th birthday with a shower of well wishes from his fellow MCs. And oddly enough, Birdman was one of the most outspoken well-wishers via Instagram, calling the rapper his son.

“HBD MY SON @liltunechi #BEFORE ANYTHANG #CMR uptownshit #BMJR #ymcmb4life #bloodlove,” Birdman wrote in the first of four posts about Wayne.
