Three friends snuck through a fence and found themselves roaming around an abandoned Astrodome, beers in hand—and took photos to document their exploration.

Reddit user "loserfame" posted photos from 2012 showing he and two friends in various different places around the Houston Astrodome. Other than for other one-off instances—like shelter for the Katrina aftermath in 2005—the Astrodome hadn't been regularly used since 2003.

These guys left no stone unturned as they ventured through production booths, locker rooms, and even up on the roof.

For the sake of credibility, it was pointed out that a photo of one of their empty cups left in the scoreboard operations room ended up in the Houston Chronicle, a few weeks after reporters were invited to tour the stadium.

Now that this story has gone viral, I sure hope the Astrodome maintenance guy fixed that gap in the fence.
