It's known as the "Nightmare On Rena Drive," and I'm not sure if any other Lafayette residents are as excited for Halloween as the folks behind these decorations.

The photo was sent to me by a friend, saying that another friend passed by the house (located on Rena Drive between Johnston St. and Veron's) and noticed the wild decorations and a countdown to Halloween.

A video shows that the countdown was as high as at least 65 days until Halloween, which means this house has been in the Halloween spirit since at LEAST late August.

A Facebook page dedicated to the Nightmare on Rena house didn't offer that much more information, but it seems like they're definitely in the spirit. Unlike the traditional pumpkins and box store inflatables, this house turns up the weird with creepy ghouls and even body parts.

Have you seen the house in person yet?
