Halloween Trick Or Treating Times Have Been Announced In Parts Of Acadiana

With Halloween just weeks away, we are beginning to get the times kids will be allowed to Trick or Treat in their respective communities around Acadiana. As we get more locations and times, we will update the list we already have.

Safety Tips To Remember While Out Trick Or Treating

• Always carry a flashlight or glow stick and  be sure to wear bright colored clothing
• Visit homes of people you know. Avoid going to strangers homes.
• Never enter a house of a stranger
• Never walk in the road
• Inspect your candy prior to consuming
• Obey all traffic laws
• Do NOT allow children to ride behind trucks or on trailers alone
• Children should always go out trick or treating accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Have a defined location or route for your Trick or Treating
• Obey property and the curfew defined by your town or community
• Be aware of your surroundings at all times
